Readers: Are study tours worth it?

Steve

I will not allow my children to participate in educational trips. The current market appears to be chaotic, with varying qualifications and entry standards for institutions and practices. Some businesses might charge exorbitant fees without delivering meaningful educational content. What's more, many of these trips seem to offer superficial experiences with a lack of substantial educational value. Finally, there is a significant imbalance in teacher-student ratios, and some teachers might not possess the required qualifications. This raises considerable concerns about the safety of students.
