As the summer season takes hold, the wheat harvest in Taikang county, Zhoukou city, Henan province, is in full swing. On Monday, in Yangmiaoxi village of the county, State Grid Zhoukou Power Supply Company organized the Jiao Yulu Communist Party Member Service Team members to conduct thorough inspections of power facilities in the fields to ensure electrical safety during the harvest period.

Zhoukou, as an agricultural city, is truly living up to its name as a major granary. It maintains a stable annual grain sowing area of more than 13,333 square kilometers, with a total grain output of around 9 billion kilograms, accounting for nearly one-seventh of the province's total production. With the wheat now entering its ripening stage, the busy agricultural season is underway, resulting in increased electricity usage for field management. State Grid Zhoukou Power Supply Company is taking the responsibility of ensuring a stable power supply by launching new measures and providing dedicated service.

In the high-standard farmland of Laoguanwang village in Changying town, Huangfan district in the city, staff members from State Grid Huangfan District Power Supply Company rebuilt the line protective sheaths. This is an example of the company's efforts to follow the "equipment ownership system" and "zero blind spots, zero omissions" principles when it conducts comprehensive check-ups on the lines, poles and substations in the fields.

The staff members finished meticulous inspections of 11,626 low-voltage agricultural distribution substations and 108,207 machine well power facilities throughout the city. They implemented closed-loop governance for identified safety hazards and potential risks case by case. Since early May, the company has addressed a total of 267 safety hazards.

In response to the increasing temporary electrical facilities during the wheat harvest, which led to a high risk of harvesters accidentally touching towers, poles and lines, the staff members conducted inspections and corrections of warning signs in important areas such as wheat fields and intersections. Additionally, the company leveraged the intelligent monitoring function of the production control center to expand monitoring coverage of critical power channels. For sudden abnormal circuit facilities, it implemented a 20-minute emergency response mechanism to stop any actions that threaten the safe operation of the lines.

In Xuanwu town, Luyi county, State Grid Luyi County Power Supply Company organized the Jiao Yulu Communist Party Member Service Team to conduct a comprehensive inspection of agricultural lines and electrical equipment in 511 administrative villages across the county. Additionally, the staff members collected demands during the summer season from the local residents and distributed publicity materials on protecting electrical facilities. State Grid Zhoukou Power Supply Company adheres to the principle of "bring service to the fields, ensuring power supply on land". Staff members actively engaged with local residents in the fields to understand their electricity needs and provide on-demand services.

Moreover, State Grid Zhoukou Power Supply Company leveraged rural power service grids and the village network co-construction initiative to manage electricity-related matters for the users. Through a combination of online and offline approaches, they have been strictly implementing a 24-hour on-duty system, strengthening the functions of township power supply offices and stations, and providing timely and efficient responses to emergencies. Such efforts are contributing to a bountiful summer harvest, quality service and reliable electricity supply.
