With the vigorous development of the tourism industry, many residents have transformed their homes into homestays. The staff members for "village network construction" established regular contacts with the island's power grid personnel. WeChat apps are also used to understand the needs of customers on the island.

"The homestays were renovated from the houses of old villagers, and the electricity equipment could not meet the operational needs. However, with strong support from the local power supply station, the project progressed smoothly from construction to operation," said a homestay manager on the island. The ample electricity supply and high-quality electricity services have made homestay owners feel very reassured and confident about the future operation.

In response to the increasing number of homestays, a surge in tourists and a sharp increase in electricity demand, the electricity convenience service station fully utilize a grid-based service model and the roles of Party member service teams. They have opened a green channel for homestay electricity installations that enables instant online processing, to fully ensure reliable electricity supply during the peak tourist season.

In the future, the State Grid Weihai Power Supply Company said it will continuously optimize its service model, improve service quality and refine service details. Utilizing the convenience service stations, it will make every effort to meet the new requirement of island tourism development and the new demands of customers.
