Typhoon Yagi is forecast to maintain its northwestward trajectory at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour, with its intensity anticipated to remain steady or undergo slight fluctuations. The region from Wenchang in Hainan to Xuwen in Guangdong is expected to bear the brunt of the super typhoon's direct landfall on Friday afternoon.

Hainan province issued a typhoon Level I warning on Thursday, which continues into Friday. This warning places the province on the highest alert for typhoon prevention and response measures.
