Emergency measures in place for Typhoon Yagi

The residents of Haikou city have taken precautions on their own, such as strengthening doors and windows and storing essential supplies like food, drinking water, and power banks.

In Wenchang city, efforts were made to evacuate residents from at-risk areas. On Thursday, elderly individuals and children from Xintian village, Xintian second village, and Yingming village in Puqian town were relocated to a safe site. They have been provided with accommodation and a nutritious five-dish dinner.
