The National Commission for Disaster Reduction sent 70,000 disaster relief items on Thursday, such as folding beds, towel quilts, and emergency family packs, to Hainan and Guangdong provinces. These supplies are intended to support potential emergency evacuation and relocation efforts for affected residents.

At 1 am on Friday, China Southern Power Grid mobilized five teams comprising over 700 personnel, 30 power generation vehicles, four crane trucks, and other emergency equipment, all of which have arrived in Hainan. They have been preemptively deployed to cities such as Wenchang and Haikou.
