Baosight Software unveils domestically-built programmable logic controller products

New programmable logic controller (PLC) products researched and developed independently were launched by Shanghai Baosight Software Co Ltd on Friday in Shanghai, a major step in localization and independent innovation of the industrial control system, according to the Shanghai-listed software company.

Known as Baosky Series, the PLC products were researched and developed independently by Baosight Software. Based on more than decade-long innovation, research and development, the new series of PLC products has achieved fully autonomous controllability covering the operating system, software, and programming environment.

With high level of reliability, stability and flexibility, the products can be widely used in various industries' automation.

Fei Peng, deputy general manager of China Baowu Steel Group, said Baowu Group expects to develop more optimized and sophisticated products on par with world standard in performance, stability and reliability via Baosight.

"In a bid to constantly optimize products performance and expand applications to more areas, it is a must to build core competitiveness, stick to innovation, and enhance research and development.
