Book examines aspects of Chinese culture

The Beauty of Chinese Culture, a book organized by the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences and created in collaboration with several experts and scholars in the cultural and artistic fields, and published by CITIC Press Group, was released in August.
The contributory lineup for The Beauty of Chinese Culture is impressive, featuring academic advisers Zhu Liangzhi and Wang Yichuan, along with contributors such as professors Yuan Jixi, Mo Lifeng, Tian Qing, Zhou Yude, Zhao Shengliang, Ren Wanping, and Hang Jian.
Spanning over 300 pages and including nearly 200 images, the book aims to guide readers through history, exploring the cultural treasures and aesthetic essence of the Chinese culture.
The book is divided into three major sections: Beauty in Character, Beauty in Artistic Context, and Beauty in Life, covering topics including Chinese classics, rituals, music, poets, calligraphy, ink painting, traditional clothing, architecture and artifacts.
Through a rich combination of text and images, it comprehensively showcases the aesthetic charm of Chinese culture.
Xu Chunsheng, deputy director of the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences, said: "We hope the publication of this book will serve as an opportunity to widely gather academic research and cultural dissemination efforts, collectively contributing to the study, spread, and inheritance of excellent traditional Chinese culture, allowing it to shine even brighter in contemporary times."
