BEIJING - The Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League has extended its official partnership with Chinese technology brand TCL, as announced at the press conference for the 2024-25 season on Thursday.
TCL has been a key partner of Chinese basketball since 2009, when it first became the official partner of the Chinese men's basketball team and a sponsor of the CBA League. Following the establishment of the CBA Company in 2017, TCL's status was elevated to the league's official partner.
Earlier this year, FIBA renewed its global partnership with TCL, making the Chinese brand the longest-serving technology sponsor of the international basketball governing body.
As part of the renewed collaboration, TCL has supported or will support several key basketball events, including the 2024 Paris Olympic women's basketball qualifiers, the 2025 FIBA continental tournaments, the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup in Germany, and the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Qatar.
The FIBA-TCL partnership is expected to cover over 2,000 international basketball events and reach fans across 190 countries and regions.
