JD Logistics, the logistics arm of Chinese e-commerce behemoth JD, announced on Wednesday that sellers on Alibaba Group's online marketplaces Taobao and Tmall can choose JD Logistics as the delivery method.
JD Logistics said it will have full access to the Taobao and Tmall platforms where merchants could enjoy the integrated supply chain solutions involving warehousing, delivery and express service provided by JD.
Last month, Alibaba announced that consumers shopping on Taobao and Tmall can use Tencent's WeChat Pay for transactions, a significant step in breaking down payment barriers between the two internet companies, and improving user experience.
