The Power of Datafication has been introduced to global markets at the world-renowned Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany, marking its first international publication.

Written by Guo Wei, a digital transformation strategist with extensive experience in the technology sector, the book explores artificial intelligence or AI-driven data cloud integration and outlines four key approaches to business digitization, aiming to provide a comprehensive analysis of China's digital transformation landscape and a broader global perspective.

Guo's insights draw on his three decades of experience on China's digital journey, and look to help business leaders better understand digitalization and navigate the challenges of the digital era. The book serves as a practical reference for companies worldwide looking to innovate and adapt to technological changes.

F. Warren McFarlan, emeritus professor at business administration at Harvard University, said the book is informed by technology applications from both China and the West, making it a valuable resource for strategic planners and executives. In the preface, Julian Birkinshaw, former professor of strategy and entrepreneurship at the London Business School, highlighted the significance of Guo’s insights on AI, data cloud integration, and middle platforms in shaping the future of business.

Since its original release in China in June 2022, the book has sold nearly 100,000 copies, said its publisher LID Publishing.
