Bentajar, from the UAE, praised the strong partnership with China Unicom, particularly in areas such as IoT, international roaming and digital infrastructure.
He expressed hopes to deepen cooperation with China Unicom Middle East, particularly in network connectivity capacity building and smart city construction.
Some innovative solutions from China Unicom were also showcased at the inauguration ceremony.
China Unicom currently operates 40 branches around the world, manages over 60 international submarine cables, and maintains more than 400 service access points across more than 200 countries and regions.
