China's new guidelines for writing the national anthem in Braille

By Cheng Si | chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2024-12-03 21:19

China has recently released new guidelines to standardize the Braille writing of the national anthem and sign languages proficiency test, which aims to improve the quality of education and public services to people with disabilities.

The two guidelines are jointly released by the Ministry of Education, the National Language Commission and the China Disabled Persons' Federation, which will take effect from March 1, 2025.

The new Braille national anthem standard regulates the Braille writings of five-line staff and numbered musical notation of China's national anthem, which can help people with visual impairment to better know the melody and lyrics of the national anthem, thus singing it correctly and solemnly.
