China and India to discuss border issues

China and India will hold the 23rd meeting of the Special Representatives for China-India Boundary Question on Wednesday in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian announced on Monday.
Lin said, Wang Yi, China's special representative on the China-India boundary issue and its director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, will co-chair the meeting with India's special representative Ajit Doval, who is also the country's national security adviser.
The leaders of China and India met in October in Kazan, Russia where they agreed to make good use of the mechanism of the Special Representatives for China-India Boundary Question, ensure peace and tranquility in the border areas, and find a fair and reasonable settlement.
The last meeting was hosted by India in 2019.
