"It is worth mentioning that the vessel's construction speed and the project status are already on a par with our European peers, indicating another solid step of China's shipbuilding industry in manufacturing cruise ships with high efficiency after initially mastering the key technologies," said Wang, who is also the general manager of the large cruise project.
Named as Adora Flora City in October 2024, the cruise vessel takes Guangzhou of Guangdong province as its home port. It is expected to get floated in April and be delivered by the end of 2026, said Wang.
The 141,900-gross-tonnage ship will be 341-meter-long, 17.4 meters longer than the first one. In the meantime, the vessel will add 19 more guest rooms, making the total number to 2,144 rooms, accommodating a maximum of 5,232 passengers.
