Two Alpha jets collide in eastern France, no fatalities reported

PARIS -- Two Alpha Jets from the Patrouille de France aerobatic team collided during a rehearsal on Tuesday in eastern France. According to multiple sources, both pilots and a passenger ejected safely and were found conscious.
The collision occurred at 3:35 pm (1435 GMT) near Air Base 113 in Saint-Dizier, in the Grand Est region. Two of the individuals were taken to a hospital in Saint-Dizier, while the third is being treated by the military, Le Parisien reported.
One of the aircraft crashed into a silo, sparking a fire that emergency crews are working to extinguish. According to the same source, there were no civilian casualties.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
Defense minister Sebastien Lecornu confirmed the incident on his X account, stating that emergency services are mobilized and coordination is ongoing with the interior ministry.
