Exhibition focuses on power of design

From illustrated books celebrating biodiversity in Yunnan province, to posters integrating Peking Opera paper-cuts, a graphic design exhibition now on at the Jilin University of Arts in Changchun, Jilin province, reveals design as a new quality productive force, facilitating China's economic and cultural progress, and raising its global profile.
The exhibition, which runs until April 20, includes 230 entries from the Second Session China Graphic Design Exhibition launched in 2020 by the China Artists Association.
The designs are for posters, characters, packaging, creativity products and commercial campaigns, and show the greater role design now plays in many aspects of life.
