The National Art Museum of China in Beijing is providing art students with the opportunity to see how classroom learning translates into works that resonate with the public.

At its public education space, the museum is showcasing a selection of Chinese New Year-themed prints by students from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Created to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Horse, the small-format works include woodcuts, lithographs and digital prints and are on display until Feb 9.

The show not only brings artists closer to audiences, but also helps launch their professional careers, with selected works available for purchase at the museum's gift shop.
