The Estee Lauder Companies Inc's French luxury skincare brand, Darphin Paris, has unveiled its first flagship store in Shanghai on Jan 28, featuring the world's first structural restoration and firming center, as part of the company's efforts to elevate innovative and culturally attuned retail spaces in the country.

This new facility offers a premium, personalized skincare experience, reflecting the brand's commitment to high-performance skincare.

The launch comes alongside a milestone for La Mer, another skincare brand under the Estee Lauder Companies' umbrella, which opened a new concept store in Shanghai, debuting the country's first "Gilded Workshop".

The dual openings in one of Shanghai's most prominent commercial districts mark a strategic move to enhance the company's offline retail landscape, further aligning with the growing demand for personalized and luxurious skincare among Chinese consumers.

In recent years, The Estee Lauder Companies has been responsive to China's evolving consumer trends and government-driven initiatives aimed at fostering innovation in consumption.

The company has rapidly expanded its offline retail footprint, capitalizing on the demand for premium, immersive shopping experiences. These new store openings reflect a broader strategy of diversifying retail spaces to create deeper emotional connections between brands and consumers through cultural localization and inventive consumption models, said the company.
