Andaz Shanghai ITC celebrates grand opening in Xuhui district

Andaz Shanghai ITC, a luxury lifestyle hotel, opened in the Xuhui district as part of the ITC complex by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Spanning over 700,000 square meters, Andaz Shanghai ITC follows a transit-oriented model.

The hotel offers 267 guestrooms and suites designed as residential-style retreats. Design elements include corridor carpets with plane tree silhouettes and maisonette-style doors, creating a homely feel. Spa-like bathrooms with 3D tiling and floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of heritage shikumen buildings alongside skyscrapers.

"The Andaz concept is all about personal style and connection to place. With Andaz Shanghai ITC, we wanted to go beyond design and create a truly emotional experience," Masaya Fudeguchi, general manager of Andaz Shanghai ITC, said.

"We invite our guests to not just see Shanghai, but to feel it—to reconnect with the city's heart through the familiar tastes of a childhood snack, the playful spirit of a street game, and the evocative scent of osmanthus on the breeze."
