"Parrotgration" thus becomes a symbol of identity in motion, of plural belonging, of integration without sacrificing one's roots, the curator added at the opening.
The exhibition is running as part of the 20th Festival Croisements, with support from the Consulate General of France in Shanghai, and is open free of charge until June 29 at Bund 18.
