Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto launched the 500SR and staged the dynamic domestic debut of its V4 SR-RR during the 2026 CFMoto Day at Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit, marking the first time the event has been held in Southwest China.

The V4 SR-RR — presented by the company as the first liter-class superbike developed by a Chinese manufacturer — is powered by a 997cc V4 engine, with a curb weight of less than 200 kilograms.

The company also displayed the new 150SC-F scooter, which was made available for visitors to test ride.

More than 300 riders joined a track parade during the event, while over 700 took part in track sessions, according to the company. A community recognition ceremony was also held for CFMoto riders.

Zheng Yinghao, deputy general manager of CFMoto Domestic Marketing Center, said the event has become "a memorable experience" for the brand's fan community.

Marcos Giorando, a distributor in Argentina, said participation in international racing is both a challenge and a statement of intent for the company. "CFMoto is embracing the challenge. Because it's a challenge, it's a risk, but they are doing very well," Giorando said.

In the first three quarters of 2025, CFMoto reported revenue of $2.1 billion, up 30.1 percent year-on-year. The company said its development has been supported by a network of more than 7,000 dealerships in over 100 countries, along with manufacturing facilities in Mexico and Thailand and an expanding international R&D presence.

Sandra Alvaro, a distributor in Spain, said the brand's growth reflects China's rapid development and rising global influence. "I love to come to China because it seems like going to the future," Alvaro said.
