Postage stamps and Chinese crafted seals both celebrated people's unbounded creativity and cultural lineage within a space of inches. China Post's recently issued stamp collection presents the combined artistry of the two forms, illuminating the various dimensions of history.

Chinese Seal Engraving (III), consisting of four stamps, showcases distinctive seal-engraving styles to offer a panoramic view of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) art. Scholars at the time held an unprecedented passion for the study of primitive and ancient characters on various materials, such as bronze, stones and oracle bones. It thereafter ushered in innovations in the inheritance of seal carving.

Stone seals engraved with characters have been an essential part of the spiritual life of intellectuals since ancient times. Since 2022, China Post has been issuing the Chinese Seal Engraving stamp series, tracing the form's development at different times and the unifying spirit behind it.
