Housed at the National Museum of China, the phoenix crown of Empress Xiaoduan from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) is a masterpiece of ancient craftsmanship. Kingfisher feather inlay forms vivid phoenix figures, while gold, gemstones, and pearls shimmer in layered brilliance. Beyond its form, it reflects refined aesthetics and extraordinary artistry, preserving the elegance and ingenuity of its time.
