A seminar jointly hosted by the China Television Arts Commission and the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau was recently held in Beijing to discuss the hit drama Life in Bloom, a heartwarming story set in the historical city of Kashgar in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

The eight-episode series follows three young women in the city, which was established over 2,000 years ago, as they support one another through personal struggles and gradually rediscover themselves. Blending tradition with modern life, the drama portrays a coming-of-age against the backdrop of multicultural exchanges in Xinjiang.

Attendees to the seminar praised the production for its realistic storytelling and warm depiction of local life.
