Chinese streaming giant iQIYI will premiere the sixth season of its dating reality show I'm So Into You on June 3, bringing together eight young participants for a relationship-focused journey set against the coastal scenery of Zhuhai in South China's Guangdong province.
Ahead of its debut, the program released a teaser and announced this season's cast at a media preview event in Beijing. The teaser begins with a masked ball, where participants interact before officially meeting one another. Through activities designed to explore attitudes toward relationships and personal values, the show aims to create opportunities for authentic emotional exchanges.
A long-running summer dating reality series, I'm So Into You follows young adults as they form connections while living together and participating in a range of social activities. This season centers on the idea of open communication, encouraging participants to express their feelings and intentions more directly.
Director Wang Yuanyuan said the new season explores the idea that love can take many forms, with a greater focus on authentic emotional expression and relationship-building among young people in everyday settings.
The production also introduces several new elements, including overnight dates in recreational vehicles, AI-assisted emotional interaction sessions, and role-playing experiences intended to deepen communication and strengthen interpersonal understanding.
The observation panel for the new season features entertainers Chen Yiru, He Haonan, Kong Xue'er, Meina, Wang Yiheng, and Zhang Xinyu. The panelists will share their perspectives on the participants' interactions and relationship development throughout the program.
