The exhibition Green China in Motion: The Ecological Narrative of Pandas, Wild Plants, and Macro Creatures captivated attendees at the 43rd Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2026. Showcasing images and books that celebrate China's vibrant natural landscapes, the exhibition has drawn over 1,800 visitors since the fair began on May 29. It will continue until June 7 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.

Blending natural science with artistic aesthetics, the exhibition offers visitors insight into China's ecological conservation efforts. As one of Southeast Asia's premier publishing events, the book fair, themed "Malaysia Reads: Celebrating Books", has attracted more than 200 publishing organizations worldwide, spanning a 124,000-square-meter exhibition area.

Co-organized by Guangxi Normal University Press Group and Xiamen International Book Company Limited, the Green China in Motion exhibition is divided into three sections.

The Pandas Impressions section highlights the animal's natural habitat, presenting these charming "ambassadors of friendship" through engaging imagery.

The Wild Plants of Mountains and Fields section showcases plants' unique ecological adaptations and emphasizes their role in medicinal and culinary traditions and in maintaining ecological balance.

The Macro Creatures section features high-precision photography of insects and small creatures, highlighting their resilience and beauty while promoting ecological equality.

All images originate from three forthcoming English books by ACC Art Books, the UK subsidiary of Guangxi Normal University Press: Giant Panda, Close-Up Views of Creatures in Wetlands, and True Portraits of Chinese Wild Plants. The Chinese versions are published by China Forestry Publishing House. Giant Panda, with its stunning visuals and exquisite design, has garnered significant attention from industry professionals and Thai visitors alike.

The Green China in Motion exhibition is part of Guangxi Normal University Press Group's ongoing commitment to promoting cultural exchange. Through initiatives such as "Bridge of Art", the group collaborates with domestic art and design publishers to share Chinese content with a global audience.
