China helps move global conversation from geopolitics to civilization

At the 2nd World Conference of Classics in Athens, Greece, Roger T. Ames, humanities chair professor at Peking University and vice-president of the International Confucian Association, said the world should congratulate China on moving the global conversation from geopolitics to civilization.

"A geopolitical discourse is always going to be zero-sum. It's always going to be politics and the economy… But that's not how we live our lives," he said.
