Young cultural ambassadors explore China through exchange program

The China Soong Ching Ling Foundation's annual Junior Cultural Ambassadors exchange activity successfully concluded recently, with young participants from 25 countries traveling to Beijing and Hefei, capital of Anhui province, for an immersive week of cultural exploration and sightseeing.
This year's program, centered on the theme "My Favorite Chinese Festival", solicited video submissions from international youth and received a total of 354 entries representing 51 countries.
A total of 63 young individuals were awarded the title of Junior Cultural Ambassador. Among them, 45 delegates from 25 nations including Iceland, Bulgaria and Nepal were invited to China to participate in the weeklong exchange activities.
Since its inception in 2021, the initiative has engaged with over 1,700 young people and more than 100 organizations from 70-plus countries, inspiring a growing number of foreign youth to take up the Chinese language. It has made sustained and positive contributions to promoting people-to-people cultural connectivity and strengthening international friendship.
