Rescue concludes after Inner Mongolia tunnel collapse kills 4

Rescue operations have concluded, and those responsible have been placed under control following a tunnel collapse at a compressed air energy storage project on Friday in Zhuozi county of Ulaanqab, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The rescue effort at the site was completed by 12 pm. All individuals linked to the accident have been detained, and work to handle the aftermath is proceeding in an orderly manner, China Central Television reported.
The government of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region has established an investigation team to look into the cause of the collapse.
The accident occurred at about 3:50 am at a tunnel section under construction by a branch of China Railway Construction Corporation in Zhuozi county. It has claimed four lives and left six others injured.
