PKU alumni, Mongolian agencies hold AI and technology exchange event

Peking University alumni and researchers held an experience-sharing event on artificial intelligence and technology with Mongolian officials and scholars in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, this week, in a move to promote AI-driven innovation cooperation.
Participants from the Mongolian side included officials from the Regulatory Agency of Government Digital Services, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications, along with other officials, scholars and researchers. The Chinese delegation was led by Liu Deying, dean at Peking University's School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The two sides exchanged views on development trends in AI and advanced technologies, policies to foster innovation ecosystems, cooperation experience and potential areas for future collaboration. The event also discussed practical applications of AI in agriculture, animal husbandry, education and healthcare.
The PKU delegation shared experience in turning university research into economic value, supporting startups and nurturing technology companies with international competitiveness.
