2026 Conference on Hongshan Culture pays tribute to guardians of the ancient civilization

At the 2026 Conference on Hongshan Culture, a special tribute was paid to those who have made outstanding contributions to the preservation and research of Hongshan cultural heritage, on Aug 5. Su Shenzhi, daughter of archaeologist Su Bingqi, spoke on behalf of the family, thanking generations of archaeologists for their unwavering dedication to preserving the site and unearthing its cultural significance. She noted that this year's conference marks a new milestone — bringing Hongshan culture to a wider global audience.
