Foreign tourists recently attended the Yi Torch Festival, the grandest traditional celebration of the Yi ethnic group, to immerse themselves in the region's distinct ethnic culture across multiple cities in Yunnan province.

Aravinda, a tourist from Sri Lanka, experienced the festival for the first time in Shilin of Kunming. He described it as an interesting event that offers a chance to enjoy diverse performances and gain insight into traditional customs.

Viktoria Romanovska, a tourist from Ukraine, said that she would recommend this festival to her friends. "It's my first time in [Shilin], and hopefully [I'll come] again and again," she said.
