Kucha's ancient murals reproduced for Great Wall showcase

The exhibition, held at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall, bridges the past and present by reviving lost Kucha murals through academic restoration. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The exhibition Kucha and the World × Her Kucha is running at the Mutianyu Great Wall Digital Museum in Bohai town, Huairou district, Beijing.

Centered on reproduction murals from Kucha that were looted and scattered overseas, the show brings together scholars, artists and heritage conservators.
