Beijing Enterprises Group Co Ltd raised its stake in China Gas Holdings Ltd, the target of a $2-billion bid by ENN Energy Holdings Ltd and China Petroleum & Chemical Corp, after buying shares in the company for the second time in five days.
Beijing Enterprises, the parent of a natural gas supplier in the Chinese capital, bought 161.8 million shares of China Gas Holdings at HK$4.10 (50 US cents) each, according to a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Monday.
