Premier Wen pledges stable exchange rate

GUANGZHOU - Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has pledged "a basically stable exchange rate" to protect the country's foreign trade enterprises.
Wen made the remarks during an inspection tour in Guangzhou, the host city of the ongoing 110th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair.
