NANJING - Four people were killed after a coal mine in East China's Jiangsu province was flooded on Tuesday, rescuers said Wednesday morning.
The accident happened at around 5:30 pm on Tuesday at the Kongzhuang Coal Mine in Peixian county, trapping 7 miners underground. The mine is owned by the Datun Coal and Power company under the China National Coal Group.
Three people were rescued and four others were found dead early on Wednesday, said the company.
