Xiamen to host machinery, electronics exhibition

The 17th China Xiamen Machinery and Electronics Exhibition and the Xiamen-Taiwan Import and Export Fair will be held from April 12 to 15 in Xiamen, Fujian province.

By Jan 25, the event had attracted more than 800 companies from the mainland and Taiwan.

The organizing committee has also received more than 3,700 booth applications, nearly 300 of which are from companies from Taiwan, including the well-known Kao Fong Machinery and Fair Friend Group.

This year's exhibition space of 80,000 square meters contains a special display area for goods from Taiwan, which will mainly showcase small appliances, daily necessities, and food products.

An important platform for cross-Straits economic and trade exchange, the event will also feature a cross-Straits investment and trade symposium and forums on cross-Straits economic and trade cooperation.
