Prosecutors in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region have charged a man suspected of killing an emergency doctor, Xinhua News Agency reported on Jan 30.
Zhu Yufei, 34, a doctor in the neurology department, was killed while she was on a home visit on Jan 19, according to the website of Baogang Hospital in Baotou.
Police believe that earlier in the day Li Xinglong had quarreled with his wife about online shopping, then hit and injured her, the report said.
The police said Li became angry at medical staff and then killed Zhu, one of emergency doctors on house call, the report added.
Li has been accused of intentional homicide, intentional injury and damaging the public order in dangerous ways, the report said.
