BEIJING - China will strictly implement and improve tightening measures on the housing market, and keep the policies continuous and steady, according to China's State Council.
Cities which have imposed restrictions on the real estate market are required to maintain their grips, while for other cities where prices have run too fast, related provincial governments should order them to impose timely curbs, said a document issued after an executive meeting of the State Council chaired by Premier Wen Jiabao Wednesday.
Policymakers at the meeting also pledged to increase land supplies for regular commercial housing projects this year.
In principle, land supplies for home construction should not be lower than the average in the past five years, said the document.
