Beijing - In the fifteenth year since Dell landed in China, Dell remains steadfast in enabling Chinese customers to do and achieve more through technology solutions. The brand campaign represents this strong commitment to customers and highlights real solutions that help customers solve their most challenging issues and pursue their passions. The campaign that launched in the fall of 2012 will continue to provide a showcase of Dell's capabilities and dedication as an end-to-end solutions and services provider. Focusing on areas such as Security, Converged Infrastructure, Storage and End User Computing, Dell reinforces its transformation that has been undergoing the past few years.

Coinciding with Dell's anniversary in China is Dell's Executive Leader Team visit for the Filed Readiness Seminar, a networking and awareness event with the Dell sales and field teams in China. Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO of the company, Jeff Clarke, Vice Chairman and President of Global Operations and End User Computing Solutions and Steve Felice, President and Chief Commercial Officer, Amit Midha, President of Dell Asia Pacific Japan Region were in attendance, further demonstrating the importance China plays to Dell and its central place in the overall strategy as the company's transformation towards an end-to-end solutions and services provider proceeds.

"The Chinese market is very impressive and we see strong growth potential here," said Amit Midha, President of Dell Asia Pacific Japan Region, "We are thrilled to become China's trusted advisor for end to end solutions and services, and advance our collaboration to the next level."

Dell has also made remarkable success in regards to transformation and fulfilled its commitment here in China, offering a full range of end-to-end solutions and services to meet the needs of Chinese customers from all types of enterprise. According to the report issued by CAITEC (China Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation) under the Ministry of Commerce, China, Dell has become China's top supplier of x86 servers and one of China's largest computer (both desktop and laptop) suppliers. Indeed, 80% of Chinese Internet companies use Dell servers. In 2012, Dell procured USD 20 billion worth of goods in China, which increased China's GDP by USD 35-40 billion and created an estimated one million job opportunities in China. Since 2008, Dell has contributed an estimated USD 2.5 billion in tax revenue to the Chinese economy.

"Our confidence and commitment to China has never been stronger." said Michael Yang, Dell President for Greater China, "The brand campaign has showcased Dell's capabilities as a full enterprise technology solutions provider. The on-going investment will build out a better and stronger brand to assist the China customer in seeing how the power to do more can help them achieve their full potential."

As another indication of this on-going commitment, this August, Dell will host its inaugural Dell World in Beijing, to bring together technology leaders from all cross China to learn from each other, discuss the technology trends that are changing business, and discover how Dell solutions can give organizations the power to do more.
