BEIJING - A suspect surnamed Han who allegedly killed a baby girl in Beijing was arrested on Monday, local police said on Tuesday.
The procuratorate of Beijing Municipality also approved the arrest of another man suspected of harboring him, according to local police.
Han was suspected of lifting the toddler from her carriage and hurling her onto the ground in Daxing District on July 23, after he and Li conflicted with the mother and beat her up, who they said had blocked the way of their car.
The girl was severely injured and died after treatment.
The police found Han in a hot spring bathhouse and detained him on July 24 and Li surrendered to police on July 25.
