The discussion about dance cooperation was centered on dance education, new dance creation, the role dance plays in contemporary life, arts management, and planning for the 2017 "16+1" Cultural Season.
Concerning the cooperation, a representative from Beijing Dancing Academy expressed the willingness to work with CEEC countries on dance education.
"We all think that the cooperation should start from very minor things, rather than some huge projects. For example, a CEEC choreographer could work with a Chinese dance troupe, and vice versa," said Feng Shuangbai, chairman of the Chinese Dancers Association.
Feng also suggested the Internet should be efficiently applied in the mutual cooperation. A website or a database could be built to share new information and resources.
