Fresh ink art

A group of young artists are holding a joint ink art exhibition at Jingfeng Art Gallery in the 798 Art Zone.

The exhibition presents more than 40 works by 31 young and emerging artists, most of whom are teachers of art academies. The subjects of their works include figures, landscapes, and birds and flowers.

"Ink art has long been regarded as a traditional genre. Now it has evolved into a vanguard art. And it is gaining ground in the art market, thanks to efforts by innovative young artists," says curator Zhang Meili.
