Chinese artists have the same expression. The painting, Every Grain Comes From Hard Working, created in 1955, portrays a farmer attentively picking up ears of grain. In the back round is his carriage full of harvested grains. Fang Zengxian created this painting after seeing some of his students wasting food. The piece of art is seen as a masterpiece in the renovation of water and ink portrait paintings.
