The National Art Museum of China is showing selected ancient ink art masterpieces donated by celebrated collector and former editor-in-chief of People's Daily Deng Tuo (1912-66).
Deng donated 140 works to the museum in 1964.
The comprehensive show of all the donated works that ran from Jan 17 to April 10 was successful, museum director Fan Di'an says.
On show will be more than 30 calligraphic works and paintings, most of which were created by the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties' artists.
