Energy Exposition in Shanxi registers 90 participating companies

Nearly 90 domestic and overseas companies registered for the Energy Exposition in Shanxi province, according to the secretariat of the Energy Exposition organizing committee on August 8. The companies include roughly 30 foreign companies, such as Motorola and Siemens, and other Top 500 companies and leading enterprises.

Officials from the Shanxi Investment Promotion Bureau began invitation work early this year and took advantage of government investigative delegations to Guangdong, Hubei, Henan and Fujian. In addition, the Shanxi-Foreign Enterprises and Shanxi-State Enterprises Cooperation and Exchange Conference was held in Beijing.

The officials introduced this year's Energy Exposition to neighbor provinces and the world's Top 500 companies and conducted continuous follow-up work. So far, the investment invitation program has proceeded smoothly.

According to the merchant department, this year's Energy Exposition will utilize innovations in investment-invitation and exhibition, emphasizing quality instead of quantity.

Top 500 companies and industry leading enterprises have also been invited. So far, Switzerland ABB (China), Air Liquide, Motorola, Siemens, and Hitachi (China) all reached agreements to participate in the exposition. In addition, a group of state enterprises will also appear in this year's expo.

The expo focuses on high quality and assembly. In addition to pictures, all exhibitors are required to highlight their models and prototypes. Meanwhile, the exhibition designs must be innovative and unique.

For the first time, the exhibition hall canceled the general exhibition area and publicity exhibition area and will allocate exhibition areas according to different energy categories.

Domestic and overseas enterprises in coal, petroleum, thermal power, hydropower, nuclear power and new energies are invited to showcase their world-class technology in energy exploration, efficient utilization, circulation, conservation and their latest products. Many more enterprises are continuing to register as the expo approaches.
