Shanxi’s Coking Coal Group has become one of the “Top 10 environmental protection enterprises” in the province, the provincial Environment and Resource Conservation Association announced, on Jan 14.

The Group started several environmental protection and energy conservation programs, in 2012, as part of the 12th Five-year Plan (2011-16), and encouraged research on protecting the environment and saving energy for a low-carbon economy and sustainable development.
