Shanxi coal reserves up dramatically in five years

The Shanxi provincial land and resources department has reported that, over the past five years, Shanxi has seen some breakthroughs in exploring mine resources.
Li Jiangong, the department’s head, explained that, over the past five years, the province has spent 2.4 billion yuan, in all, on geographical exploration work, with 387 exploration projects, resulting in an increase of 88.3 billion tons in total coal reserves.
