Exhibitions showcasing photographs from five countries in Latin America: Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico and Venezuela are open at the 2013 China Pingyao International Photography Festival from Sept 19 - 25, in Pingyao ancient city, Shanxi province.

Photograph works from Raul Canibano Ercilla, Cuba, are on show at the the 13th China Pingyao International Photography Festival in Pingyao, Shanxi province, Spet 19 to 25. 

The Latin American pavilion is open at the 2013 China Pingyao International Photography Festival from Sept 19 - 25, in Pingyao ancient city, Shanxi province. It features photographs from five countries in Latin America: Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico and Venezuela.

Under the theme “The Extraordinary within the Ordinary,” the pavilion kicked off with an insightful vision of narratives of the region. The photos provide a tour to explore extraordinary details in daily life in Latin America.

Alasdair Foster was nominated as the commissioner for the Latin American pavilion. The five exhibitions showcase photographs provided by over 20 contemporary photographers with a wide range of concepts, styles and genres. Each exhibition embraces diverse elements.
